One of the best carnivals in Brazil, it is the celebrated in Salvador of
Bahia, North Brazil. The "Carnival of Bahia" also well-known as "Carnival of Salvador" it is one of the popular biggest
carnaval parties in Brazil.
This carnival is very different from Rio de Janeiro, because it takes place in the streets. and not in a Sambodromo. and the whole people can participate. One won't see the carnival, but rather people dance for Salvador's street to the rhythm of the famous trios eletricos.
And alot of famous brazilian singers and tv show artistis like:
Daniela Mercury,Olodum, Gera Samba, Ivete Sangalo, Banda Eva,
Timbalada, Araketu, Asa de Aguia, Terrasamba, Carlinhos Brown, Cidade Negra and much
more....
In Salvador the base of the Carnival, are the famous the "blocos"
group of people associations that sing and dance in the streets. The parades to the rhythm of the batucadas are only accompanied by percussionists' formed orchestras. The main
Carnival event is celebrated in the area denominated Cidade Alta,
Salvador near the square Antonio Castro Alves. Salvador's streets fill with trios elétricos that they are groups that play music on some conditioned trucks with an enormous sound system. To their surroundings
people concentrate and celebrate carnaval with the multitude dancing to samba rhythm, axé and other many types of Brazilian music.
